Chase finally smiles!

Finally, Chase smiled today!!! We have not seen him smile since he was diagnosed. He used to be very playful & smiled a lot.

He stopped dexamethosone last Sunday. Could it be the steroids? Doctor said that this medicine can cause mood changes, overeating, moon face, weight gain. He had all of it.

it's amazing how different he looks now - all within a months time. achie i wanna see him :( Are you home most of the time?

Praise God for his kindness and mercy. Chasey is healed, we will keep on praying for him.

Chase looks really happy and healthy, thank God! hope he continues to improve and speed up recovery...will keep praying. - LEE

THE CHOSEN ONES

His love for them surpasses ours and
Cannot be denied.
For in the dark of suffering
His light will not subside.Not just any child could walk this uphill road
These children walk it every day
Carrying a load.

They show us heights of courage that we may never reach.
They show us what it is to fight a fight you cannot teach.
We stand beside them knowing
There is no guarantee
Except the one we started with
To love them endlessly.

They are the special chosen ones
God knew it from the start.
He picked each child for illness by measuring their heart.
The ones that measured biggest
Would someday face a test
The challenge is to understand
God loves them MORE not less.

He's using them to move our heart
Closer to his own.
Teaching us to trust his planand fear not the unknown.
For God can move a mountain and part the raging sea.
He wants our struggles offered upand given forth to thee.

He smiles upon the chosen ones
Before they're even born
And blesses them with courage
To walk through any storm.

No matter what the outcome
There is the greatest peace
In knowing deep inside our hearts
His love will never cease!

Our Gracious Heavenly Father,

In the worst times we call upon thee. We pray with sincerity and love. When ones ill, we pray for their recovery. When we need to be saved, we call for You. When we need comfort, we talk to You. Our prayers are the only way to talk to You. Although you can see us for who we are, what we feel and what our sins are. Telling You all these things still takes courage. For You are the true God who created this world, we have sinned long ago, but even if we are sinners You never let us go. You still loved us. Lord please guide us through our lives. Carry us when we are in pain. Let every tear we shed be a tear of happiness. You have created us all for a reason. We meet people that you planned us to meet. The friends and family we now know. Lord, please answer our prayers. To heal who we love most dear. Let him smile once again with no care and let him be carefree in his youth right now. Lord, hear our prayer and heal our beloved.
